Self awareness, self management, empathy, resiliency is all about building relationships amongst a team. Why do some people believe that multitasking makes us more productive? With a high performing team, there is balanced talk time and each person is fully “present” to respect, listen and genuinely learn from others. Collaboration breeds innovation. A psychologically safe environment encourages open-ness and courage, two of the five Scrum values. When we observe a team for the first time, away from their management we easily “read the room” by seeing who is present, who has camera on, who is dominant, who is passive.
